The Pact of the Radiant Dragon

On the continent of Valoran, where magic and legend intertwine, orphan Gu Wuji keeps a remote old library. His days pass quietly among yellowed books and silent shelves, as bland as a cup of plain water. He has no idea what secrets lie hidden in his bloodline, and he never dares to hope for anything beyond an ordinary life.

Until one rainy night, an ancient dragon pact book sealed for a thousand years suddenly begins to glow. A cold System notification rings out in his mind: he has been chosen as the sole pact-bearer of Agron, the great Light Dragon. Sacred dragonfire bursts from the pages and sweeps over him. The power and will of the dying dragon flood his body, completely rewriting the course of his life.

Forced to leave the quiet of the library behind, Gu Wuji ventures across the vast continent with the power granted to him by the dragon. An unknown mission calls from ahead, while dragonkind’s secrets and the continent’s crises arrive one after another. And so begins the adventure of an ordinary librarian and a Light Dragon.
