Reborn as An Lingrong: Joining Forces with Consort Hua

Reborn An Lingrong has a spoiler-filled script and joins forces with the unhinged Consort Hua to kill the emperor and change her fate!

Detailed Synopsis:

An Lingrong is reborn, back at the moment she first entered the palace. The memory of being used as a pawn and tormented to death in her previous life is seared into her heart.

This time, she no longer longs for false affection. She vows to survive, even if she has to tread on her enemies’ corpses.

She chooses the most dangerous path: she delivers a pledge of allegiance to the sharpest blade in the imperial harem, Consort Hua, Nian Shilan.

When Consort Hua questions her, An Lingrong casually reveals two earth-shattering secrets:

“The fragrance beneath Your Highness’s pillow contains musk. It is the emperor’s weapon for ensuring you never bear him an heir.”

“And Pure Consort Yuan was murdered by the current empress herself.”

Consort Hua’s world collapses in an instant.

Two women who were once toyed with and manipulated join forces in the most unlikely alliance.

An Lingrong plots from behind the scenes, crafting fragrances and reading people’s hearts, while Consort Hua strikes fiercely in the open, clearing every obstacle in her way.

The emperor sneers that the two of them are “fools joining forces” and pose no threat.

Until the night of the palace coup…

Consort Hua, her blade dripping with the blood of the guards’ captain, steps into the Hall of Mental Cultivation.

An Lingrong burns the last of her bone-corroding intoxicating incense and carries poison to the throne.

“Your Majesty, it’s time to take your medicine.”
