Deep in the abandoned tunnels under the city, Chen Mo bought this old warehouse full of cobwebs and hung a rusty sign of "Order Police Station" - there is no official establishment here, no orders from superiors, and even the police lights are dismantled from scrapped cars.
At the entrance of his "police station", there are several dilapidated vehicles with the "Order" logo spray-painted on them: some are civilian cars with modified police lights, and the police equipment box can be popped out by pressing a button; some are dusty old police cars, with the words "Order Police" on the hood faded. The license plates all read "Order A233 Police", and only the word "Police" was painted scarlet by him - like the only light under the ground.
Chen Mo was once a fringe member of the criminal police team. He was kicked out for investigating a cross-border case. He simply hid underground and made a living by taking on commissions in the gray area: helping the families of missing persons find their relatives who were smuggled across the border, intercepting dangerous goods smuggled underground, and even dealing with underground gangs. He had no law enforcement power, but he used his own rules to suppress this dark area; without backup, he relied on a few modified cars and a group of similarly "shady" helpers to support him.
In the rust of the ground, his police station is an island in chaos - every time the police lights turn on, it is a sign that the underground order has been torn apart and barely sewn back together. And that old police car, which is always parked in the most conspicuous place, hides under the hood his unfinished case history, and also hides secrets that no one underground dares to touch.
