As Lowly as Grass, Yet Brilliant as the Stars

[Strong Female Lead] [Conquest] [National Rejuvenation] [Passionate] [Decisive and Ruthless] [Transmigrates to the Qing Dynasty] Qi Yue, a history blogger, transmigrates to the Qianlong era of the Qing Dynasty and is exiled to Ningguta from the start for a literary offense. Only then does she truly understand the blood and tears soaked into those cold words in the history books. This is not one person’s tragedy, but the lament of an entire people. The descendants of those who once forged the might of the Qin and Han dynasties and the elegance of the Tang and Song are shorn of their hair, their backs broken, their memories erased. They live as lowly as weeds and die numb to it all. If that is how it must be, then let her defiant soul from a later age breathe life once more into this land, silent for over a century! On the bitterly cold black soil, she kindles not a hearth fire, but the seeds of civilization. She teaches not the art of killing, but “who we are and where we came from.” When illiterate farmers first hear the legends of Pangu creating the world and the Three Sovereigns and Five Emperors; when groups of serfs treated like livestock first learn that their ancestors were once a nation of fine robes and noble rites; when the stirring words “The Son of Heaven guards the nation’s gates; the king dies with the state” ring once more across the centuries above the night school... The national pride and dignity that had been suppressed and forgotten erupt like magma beneath the earth! Subdue Korea, take the Ryukyu Islands, reclaim Taiwan, and destroy Japan. The Chinese people will not become a colonial power, because no one deserves to be stronger than us! This is no simple change of dynasty. Under her leadership, hundreds of millions of “weeds” reclaim the glory of their ancestors and stand tall once more, using blood and fire to declare to this decaying empire: This land is called Huaxia!
