The protagonist Lin Que travels to Yoneka Town, a town with a very high crime rate, and works as a psychiatrist/hypnotist. He awakened the "life script system" and could see the recent fortune, hidden identity and death countdown above other people's heads (such as: [murderer], [victim], [undercover]).
He is not willing to just be a bystander and uses system intelligence to intervene in classic cases. On the surface, he is Officer Megure's trusted criminal psychology consultant and an "unfathomable" competitor in Conan's eyes; secretly, he uses hypnosis and script intelligence to not only become a mysterious high-level executive in the winery (the black organization), but also uses "psychotherapy" to attack characters shrouded in the shadow of the organization (such as Haibara Ai and Belmod). He wanders between red and black, using his omniscient perspective to harvest luck, and ultimately rewrites all tragedies, becoming the behind-the-scenes BOSS who masters the truth of this world.
