Spatial Farm: The Special Forces Commander's Little Chef

Synopsis of The Space Farm: The Special Forces Commander’s Little Chef

Tan Xiaoxiao, a foreign trade expert, suddenly died at her desk after working overtime. When she opened her eyes, she had become a young woman sent to the countryside in 1972, ostracized by everyone! The original owner had her food rations withheld and was forced to do the hardest labor. Tan Xiaoxiao activated a super space in response: ten mu of rich, fertile black soil, a spirit spring that could speed up crop growth, a warehouse full of high-yield seeds and secret seasonings, and even the ability to adjust the flow of time!

The aroma of a bowl of fried rice made with ingredients from her space wafted across the farm and attracted Lu Tingxiao, a special forces commander with an imposing presence. “From now on, you’re only allowed to make this for me.” The man put down his rifle and snatched the wok spatula from her, ready to protect her.

When the canteen manager gave her a hard time, she won everyone over with an improved version of the communal meal and exposed his corruption, bringing him down. When she was transferred to the military district and bullied by the old chef, she opened a breakfast stall and served soy milk, fried dough sticks, and soup dumplings. The soldiers chased after her, calling, “Chef Tan!”

The chickens in her space laid golden eggs, and the medicinal garden grew life-saving herbs. The energy meals she developed doubled the soldiers’ stamina, and her wartime ration packs won her military medals. Commander Lu showed up at her door with a marriage certificate. “Marry me. You can run the canteen, and I’ll take care of you!”

During a famine, she offered high-yield seeds to save countless lives. At an international forum, her Dongpo pork won over foreign troops. When economic reforms began, she took the lead in founding a military-civilian food company. From a little farm cook to a National March 8th Red-Banner Holder, the smoke from her kitchen warmed the military camps and filled the land with its fragrance.

But could her space hold secrets about parallel worlds? Lu Tingxiao’s final words, “In my next life, I’ll find you by your cooking,” unexpectedly echoed across time through the aroma of fried rice in a new recruits’ camp…
