In the Name of the People: The Lone Eagle Takes Flight Again, Qi Tongwei's Reborn Game of Chess

After the gunshots rang out on Gusyin Ridge, Qi Tongwei closed his eyes in the grip of unbearable regret, only to be reborn on the athletic field of Handong University, at the pivotal moment when he was about to kneel before Liang Lu in exchange for a shortcut to a promising career. Carrying decades of memories from his previous life in officialdom and the bitter lessons written in blood, he resolutely throws away the roses, refuses to rely on the Liang family, and calmly accepts his assignment to the judicial office in the remote Yantai Mountains.

This time, he is no longer the “phoenix man” trapped by his humble origins and twisted by the pursuit of power. At the grassroots judicial office, he settles neighborhood disputes with expertise and patience, earning the people’s trust. During the conflict in Qingshan Township, he uses his legal acumen to stand up to powerful developers and protect the villagers’ interests. On the anti-drug front, he uses clues from his previous life to crack cases with precision and becomes a hero who earns outstanding merit.
