I Guard the Dragon Veins of Huaxia

Lin Yi takes a strange job relocating a grave.

The coffin has been planted upright in the yellow earth, with the headstone facing due west.

The family head boasts proudly: “It’s an ancestral custom. Bury our ancestors upright, and their descendants are sure to prosper!”

But Lin Yi takes out his compass. “This is called a ‘standing corpse grave.’ Within three generations, someone will die a violent death.”

That night, crimson liquid seeps from the coffin, and all the dogs in the village suddenly fall silent.

Standing before the grave, Lin Yi presses three copper coins into the coffin lid. “There’s still time to rebury it and save your son.”
