I know all too well
that no two people can walk the same path.
I’m walking my own road through life.
No matter how hard the storms rage,
no matter how badly they slow my steps,
no matter how thick the thorns grow,
no matter how many wounds they leave,
I’ll still keep smiling like a fool.
I’ll savor every moment of it.
I believe
that one day, my little boat, sailing alone,
will see green mountains lining both shores,
with insects and birds singing together.
Haven’t you heard that heaven never bars every way out? As long as I want to walk, the road is right beneath my feet… Well, all right, that doesn’t really have much to do with this.
