Reborn in the Apocalypse: My Space and Me

In her previous life, Lin Wanxing gave the last of her dry rations to her “best friend,” Su Rou, only for Su Rou to push her off a high-rise and use her as bait for mutant beasts. Her boyfriend, Jiang Chen, whom she trusted, turned around and seized the safe house she had worked so hard to find with Su Rou. As the flames consumed her consciousness, she had only one thought: if she got another life, she would make those two pay in blood.

Reborn, she returns to two weeks before the apocalypse begins. A space appears on her wrist, capable of storing living things and keeping supplies fresh. This time, Lin Wanxing puts away all her kindness and goes on a frenzied stockpiling spree: rice, flour, and oil fill the warehouse; medicine and medical equipment are piled to the ceiling; and there are enough canned goods and snacks to last until the apocalypse ends. She also plans to turn the top floor of the apartment building where she has lived for three years into an impregnable fortress. She replaces the door with the thickest steel plate, installs bulletproof glass in the windows, and fills the corridors with obstacles.

The apocalypse arrives right on schedule. Order collapses, and a wave of looting sweeps through the city. When Su Rou comes begging for shelter with a pitiful look, and Jiang Chen pretends to be devoted and tries to rekindle their relationship, Lin Wanxing simply raises her reinforced security door and says coldly, “Get lost, or die.”

But she never expected that Lu Shiyan, a neighbor she had only glimpsed a few times in her previous life, always keeping to himself, would bring her tools as she reinforced her fortress and come to her aid when rioters surrounded her. Looking at her mountain of supplies, he shows no greed, only saying, “I've reinforced my floor too. Since we're neighbors, how about forming an alliance?”
