The Female Doctor of Baker Street: Transmigrate and Survive

Synopsis: Irene, an emergency room doctor, wakes up in 19th-century London as the penniless heir to a struggling clinic. Armed with her father's ahead-of-his-time medical manuscripts and modern ideas, she faces syphilis, hemophilia, eugenics conspiracies, and the terror of Jack the Ripper. With a scalpel in hand, she delivers babies for the poor, fights for women's dignity, and pries open the empire's darkest secrets of heredity.

Key highlights:

1. Medical mystery meets historical revelations: Rooted in the real history of Victorian medicine, from Lister's antiseptic techniques and mercury treatments to early eugenics, the story weaves together a vast conspiracy involving royal hemophilia, the Raven organization, and colonial fortunes.

2. A formidable female doctor fights her way to the top: She has no System or golden finger, relying instead on her father's groundbreaking manuscripts, her own medical skills, and her courage to break through every impasse. The surgical scenes are technically convincing and gripping, while the investigations are tightly reasoned.

3. A double rebellion against class and gender oppression: The heroine is both a doctor saving the poor and prey to the powerful, who covet her “womb.” The story explores the dangers of corsets, the awakening of feminism, and medical mutual-aid networks among workers, bringing to life a support network of working-class women.

4. A fresh take on the Sherlock Holmes universe: The heroine engages in an intellectual battle with Holmes, at once friend and foe, and navigates political maneuvering with Mycroft. Classic characters are seamlessly woven into the heroine's central journey.
