Great Tang: My Father Is Li Chengqian, So I Ask My Imperial Grandfather to Step Down

In the seventeenth year of the Zhenguan era, the deposed Crown Prince Li Chengqian dies on a snowy night in Qianzhou.

The soul from the twenty-first century does not disappear. Instead, it lodges itself in the sea of consciousness of his eldest son, Li Xiang.

“Xiang'er, your dad was a failed transmigrator. I wasn't ruthless enough, and I couldn't beat your grandpa Li Shimin.”

“But you're different. You're a native of the Tang Dynasty. You were born a wolf!”

That night, ten-year-old Li Xiang wipes away his tears, fuses with his father's modern memories and technological blueprints, and bares his fangs toward Chang'an.

Ten years later, a torrent of steel bears down on the walls of Chang'an.

Li Shimin looks at his eldest grandson, who resembles him so closely, and says in a trembling voice, “Xiang'er, your father forced my hand!”

Li Xiang points his sword at the Taiji Palace. “Grandpa, my father visited me in a dream and asked me to have you abdicate and become Retired Emperor!”
