CP: Echizen Ryoga
Echizen Caihui is Echizen Ryoma’s older sister. Her father is Echizen Nanjirō, the “Samurai” of the tennis world, but her name makes it clear that her specialty is drawing. Not fine art, though: she draws manga. She’s completely at odds with the tennis-loving Echizen family. Unlike her younger brother, who often loses his memory, she has an eccentric personality and unusually forward-thinking ideas.
The whole family originally lived in the United States. But when Echizen Ryoma went to Japan for middle school, Echizen Nanjirō sent her along too, claiming that her little brother was too young and might have trouble adjusting, and that it would be better for the whole family to stay together.
In response, Echizen Caihui contemptuously flipped her father the bird.
“You just miss the pretty girls in Japan, don’t you?”
Later, not long after the Japanese middle school National Tournament ended, her younger brother joined the U-17 representative team’s training camp.
When he came back, he brought along the person she could stand the least: Echizen Ryoga.
And most importantly… she actually swapped bodies with Echizen Ryoga and had to take his place on the U.S. representative team, playing a sport she had only ever drawn and had never played a single day in her life.
Echizen Caihui was going to lose her mind!!!
