Terror in the Miasma Forest: A Hiking Diary from the Ailao Mountains

My name is Wang Xiangyang. I'm a 35-year-old man, born and raised in Kunming, and still single. I'm a freelance writer, and I also run a small niche social media account. I make a living writing about outdoor adventures, Yunnan's local history, and plant science.

Everything I'm writing about happened to me. As I type this in my rented apartment, every light I can turn on is blazing, even the emergency light in the kitchen. I just want to leave behind some evidence for myself. If I go into the mountains this time and don't come back, at least someone will know what happened and that I, Wang Xiangyang, didn't simply vanish without a trace.
