Long March Advance: from Jinggang Mountain to Fanjing Mountain

The river of time continues to surge, and the revolutionary epic will shine forever. In the land of China in 1934, wars were raging, mountains and rivers were shattered, and the Chinese revolution was at a critical juncture of life and death. When the smoke of the fifth anti-"encirclement and suppression" campaign filled the Central Soviet Area, and when the iron wall of reactionary forces encircled them step by step, a heroic force carrying the strategic mission of exploring the path, led by Ren Bishi, Xiao Ke, and Wang Zhen, resolutely bid farewell to the hot land of the Hunan-Jiangxi Soviet Area and embarked on the road to the Western Expedition with an uncertain future but high ambitions. After nearly eighty days and nights of bloody battles and more than 5,000 miles of fighting, the Sixth Red Army crossed the mountains of Guangdong, Hunan, Guangxi and Guizhou provinces with their steel bodies, breaking through the military blockade deployed by the enemy at all levels with loyalty and courage. From the turbulent waves of the Gan River to the dangerous shoals and reefs of the Xiang River, from the scorching heat at the foot of the Jinggang Mountains to the freezing late autumn in the Fanjing Mountains, they conquered the obstacles of dozens of rivers and defeated the pursuing enemy troops that were several times their size. The witty seduction of the enemy in the battle of Xinchang, the desperate counterattack in the Ganxi encounter, and the heroic elegance of jumping off the cliff at Kunniu Mountain. Each battle demonstrates the heroic spirit of the Red Army soldiers who "overwhelm all enemies without being overwhelmed by any enemy, conquer all difficulties without being conquered by any difficulty." The Sixth Red Army's Western Expedition not only successfully completed the advance exploration mission assigned by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, ascertained the enemy's situation and opened up a channel for the Central Red Army's strategic transfer, but also, tempered by blood and fire, injected the core elements of absolute loyalty, perseverance and courage, truth-seeking and pragmatism, unity and advancement, and people first into the great Long March spirit.
