Dustbound Swordmaster: From Mortal Bones to Lord of the Realms

On the Qingcang Continent, Zhang Chen is an outer-sect disciple of Qingyun Sect. Born with a “mortal bone” that prevents him from absorbing spiritual energy, he is mocked by everyone in the sect and dismissed as a lost cause. He encounters the assassin Ye Li, who initially comes for profit but is moved by Zhang Chen’s sincerity and devotion to protecting his loved ones. Ye Li eventually becomes his sharpest hidden blade, helping him cut through every obstacle. He meets Mo Chen, a Grand Golden Immortal of Supreme Unity exiled from the Immortal Realm, and learns the true principles of space from him, gaining a deeper understanding of the Great Dao.

As his strength grows, Zhang Chen is drawn into power struggles within the sect and conflicts between realms. To protect those around him, he dares to oppose Qingyun Sect and stand against the myriad realms. When Hunhunzi, a quasi-sage from the Chaos Realm with a “devouring physique,” descends, bent on devouring all the worlds and enslaving all living beings, Zhang Chen has already understood his path: his “Chaos Mortal Body” will carry the Law of Balance, and the Dustbound Sword will sever the ambition of tyranny.
