I Refused to Sell Fish for My Grandson, So I Became a Foreign Power

[To keep his grandson from selling fish, Great-Grandpa blasted the Japanese into the sky in 1940!]

Watching his grandson Gao Qiqiang receive a death sentence, Gao Jianguo dies with bitter regret. When he opens his eyes again, he has returned to 1940 in northwestern Shanxi, as an ordinary soldier in the New First Regiment!

The [Great Power War Lord System] bound to him tells him that every Japanese soldier he kills earns him equipment, blueprints, and factories!

Facing an Eighth Route Army short on food and clothing, Gao Jianguo waves his hand and vows to change the fate of three generations of Gao family peasants!

“When we’re poor, we outmaneuver them. When we’re rich, we blow the damn place flat!”

Li Yunlong: “Old Gao, I need two boxes of grenades!”

Gao Jianguo: “Grenades? Pathetic! Take these ten 107mm rocket launchers. No need to aim, just blanket the area!”

Chu Yunfei: “Brother Gao, this American equipment isn’t all that impressive...”

Gao Jianguo: “Of course not. Mine’s a modified version, developed to counter the wars of the future!”

From hand-building AK-47s to founding the first red arms factory; from Katyushas leveling Ping'an County to an arms-industry powerhouse rising on this land.

In this life, Gao Jianguo will not only cure Li Yunlong’s “fear of insufficient firepower,” he’ll also put the Gao family at the very peak of power!

“Xiaoqiang, is the empire your Great-Grandpa won for you enough to make sure you never have to sell fish again, and can just eat it?”
