A Dou, Emperor Taizong of Tang: The Han Dragon Conquers the World

After the defeat at Yiling, with Yong'an Palace in danger and Liu Bei's deathbed entrustment only a night away, Tang Taizong Li Shimin's soul transmigrates into the “mediocre Ah Dou.” With an emperor's heart from the Zhenguan era hidden inside the body of a young ruler, he uses feigned “stupidity” to steady the court, pacify Nanzhong, and train the Black-Armored Han cavalry. Drawing on the courage that broke through Hulao Pass, he first defeats Cao Wei, then conquers Eastern Wu, restoring the Han dynasty amid the chaos of the Three Kingdoms. Later, he leads his army north into the deserts and expands into the Western Regions, defeating the Kushan Empire and conquering Rome, until Han banners fly over Europe, Asia, and Africa. When Liu Shan, the supposedly hopeless ruler, opens the eyes of Taizong, this chaotic age is due for a new emperor. (Li Shimin's soul transmigrates into Liu Shan, also known as Liu A Dou.)
