I Met Snow in Midsummer

Because of congenital gland underdevelopment and years of injections of Alpha pheromone hormones, Jiang Yinan couldn’t use suppressants. Dr. Chi told him, “Only an Alpha whose pheromone compatibility with you is above 95% can help you through your heat.”

Jiang Yinan had given up on himself and was already prepared to die that midsummer.

At the time, Jiang Yinan snapped, “You’re crazy.”

Later, Jiang Yinan told him, “Xia Nanzhu, don’t pretend you feel sorry for me.”

Xia Nanzhu only looked at him without saying a word.

Later still, Xia Nanzhu’s voice trembled as he whispered in Jiang Yinan’s ear, “...Don’t do this, please. I’m here. I can help you. Don’t leave me...”
