Li Wei transmigrates and becomes the Heavenly Dao of a new world. He thinks he can do whatever he wants, only to discover that the world is riddled with bugs!
[World Bug Report]:
Energy is not conserved. Spiritual energy is consumed but never replenished, and the world is projected to run dry in three hundred years.
The physics engine is missing. Experts can shatter continents with a single punch, but repairing them takes a vast amount of the world's origin energy.
The character respawn system is broken. Old monsters refuse to die, and the novice village is packed full.
Li Wei is dumbfounded. This world is doomed sooner or later! To save himself, he has no choice but to step in personally as a “programmer.”
He creates the “Strongest Sign-In System” and binds it to a good-for-nothing young man, assigning him to visit spiritual leyline nodes around the world and “sign in” every day. The boy thinks it's a fortuitous opportunity, but he's actually helping Li Wei restart the spiritual energy circulation array.
“Young man, I can tell you've got unusual bones. Why not sign in? Sign in for 365 days, and I'll give you an Emperor Flame!”
He turns into an “old grandpa in a ring” and tricks a child of destiny into challenging the great sects. The sects think it's a provocation, but Li Wei is really using the boy to clear out the redundant old monsters who take up space without doing anything.
He even launches “Ten Thousand Worlds Takeout,” personally delivering meals to powerful cultivators in secluded meditation and urging them, “Stop competing so hard and ascend already. The world outside is bigger.”
“Fellow Daoist, how about ascending? We're running a promotion: buy out your ascension passage and get a three-hundred-year temporary residence permit in the immortal realm.”
Hidden away in the Heavenly Dao's domain, Li Wei watches the patches he built himself, like “ascension rat race” and “System KPIs,” running smoothly. He wipes the sweat from his brow.
“Don't thank me. I'm just an overworked programmer. Please, stop finding new bugs!”
