Youth is the whisper hidden in the diary, the walking side by side at the end of the corridor, the red tick on the test paper intertwined with tears - it is unobtrusive, but hot enough.
The warmest thing about spending time with middle school and high school children is to quietly listen to them share their little thoughts on campus - the ignorant heartbeats that cannot be hidden between the desks, the confusion and persistence when fighting for dreams, the unspoken tacit companionship between friends, and the little confusions that are caught off guard on the way to growth.
These vivid experiences and pure emotions are like full seeds, taking root and sprouting in my heart. Hence the book "Young Love". I carefully collected the children's stories and gently adapted them, so that those precious fragments about youth, growth and encounters were permanently frozen in the form of words.
There are no earth-shattering plots in the book, only ordinary moments close to their lives: the tacit understanding of running in both directions, the tenderness of trying to get closer, the determination to pursue dreams, and the hesitation in the face of confusion. I want to tell the children through these stories that the youth and confusion you are experiencing, the love and expectations you hide in your heart, are the most real and touching appearance of youth.
I hope this book can become a small lamp, gently illuminating the path of your youth. When you read it, you can feel the warmth of "It turns out I am not alone", you can find your own shadow in other people's stories, and you can also draw the courage and strength to move forward, becoming less confused and more determined in the journey of growth.
This is dedicated to every young girl who is going through youth.
