Lin Xiulan is mocked by her former fiancé for being fat and ugly, and the village gossip leaves her feeling down. She goes up the mountain to clear her head and runs into Shen Jianjun, a discharged soldier from her village. He's tall and broad-shouldered, discharged due to an injury, estranged from his family, and living alone in a little house on the edge of the village. Xiulan observes him in secret and discovers that he's honorable and hardworking. To spare her parents any worry, she takes the initiative and proposes marriage. Two young people who have both been treated coldly by life find their way to each other. Follow along as they grow vegetables, raise chickens, and build a happy life together.
P.S. The romance may be a little slow to heat up. The heroine isn't particularly fat, just slightly plump and curvy, and she stays that way throughout the story.
It's quite good-looking. The family is short-tempered and warm and down-to-earth.
I haven't seen such a good novel in a long time. The words are simple, like a trickle of water, touching people's hearts.
The only article that doesn't jump forward quickly, has no ink, or delays. It's interesting to read.
It's pretty good. It's just that ordinary people live an ordinary life without the best.
I like reading it very much. The writing is smooth and flowing. The writing is great. Come on.
I really like this kind of rural-themed novels, realistic,
The three views of this book are very upright and the author is honest. Keep up the good work and it will get better.
Interesting, detailed descriptions, and beautiful.
This story is more real and satisfying than Time Travels in Goldfinger, and it is simple and atmospheric.
It's true if it's plain and simple. It's well written.
