Shipping Couples with Chinese Mysticism in Spy X Family

[Fanfic] [Shipping] [System]

After transmigrating into Spy x Family as an unnoticed classmate, Lin Qingmo only wants to quietly enjoy the ship. Who knew she’d get bound to the [Matchmaking System], whose missions are to bring Anya and Damian, the second son, together?

The System is simple and blunt, but its rewards are so tempting they make her cry:

“Mission: Get the second son to say ‘Baka’ and blush. Reward: [Mind Reading (Toddler Edition]!”

“Mission: Stage a heroic rescue. Reward: [Foshan Shadowless Kick Experience Card]!”

And so, Eden Academy’s entire vibe changes.

She uses tai chi pushes on the sports field to create hand-holding opportunities for her favorite couple. She uses tarot cards to brainwash Becky into thinking “Damianya is fate.” She even cosplays as the Old Man Under the Moon and visits Damian in a dream to tell him, “Your destiny is missing Anya.”

The “good luck charm” she gives Twilight helps his mission go smoothly. The “digestive charm” she gives Yuri cures his stomachache.

Just as she’s quietly taking credit and having the time of her life shipping couples, the top spy, Twilight, pins her against a wall, his gaze sharp. “Lin, who sent you with those Eastern tricks of yours?”

Meanwhile, Yor is clutching the “marital harmony charm” Lin gave her, while secret policeman Yuri is deep in thought over Lin’s uncannily accurate fortune-telling.

Lin Qingmo clutches her peachwood sword and Shan Hai Jing cosplay outfit, trembling.

Don’t ask. It’s Eastern mysticism. Don’t ask. Shipping couples saves the world!

When the final crisis arrives, she stops hiding. She steps through the Big Dipper formation, the image of the Great Sage Equal to Heaven appearing behind her, and smiles brightly at the entire cast.

“Don’t be afraid. I’ve done the math…”

“As long as the couples we ship don’t get a bad ending, this world can’t be destroyed!”
