(This story features a male-male couple. Please consider carefully before reading if that bothers you.)
In 2032, strange urban legends spread through the shadows of the city: the Red Flower Bride, who seeks her destined partner; the faceless ghost that claims lives; children's rhymes heard in the dead of night... The one behind it all is Yuan Yilin, cold, cruel, and sinister.
Bored by the world, he turns the city into a chessboard and human hearts into sustenance, weaving a terrifying carnival, yet treating his “children” with the tenderness of a devoted father. Then he meets Shang Hongyin, the least “serious” member of the Urban Legend Investigation Society. With violet-to-pink gradient hair and emerald eyes, his spirit sight lets him see the sorrow behind legends and the ugliness of human nature. Beneath his carefree exterior lie a meticulous mind, loneliness, and quiet kindness.
Two people from opposing sides become entangled by chance: one is the mastermind behind the horrors, the other a laid-back genius investigating the strange. What will happen when the cold creator joins the investigation society, and the spirit-seer glimpses the tenderness he hides? In this chase and game of wits sparked by urban legends, who will fall first?
Urban legends × two formidable rivals × unapologetic wish fulfillment. Watch the two male leads love and fight their way through terrifying legends as they uncover the hidden truth lurking in the city's shadows.
“Relax~ No legend, however terrifying, can beat the urge to have some fun, right?”
“Interesting. You're the first person to see through my legend and make the world feel a little less boring.”
Very fragrant 👍 😘 ❤️ Come on,
