"Secret Fragrance·Floating Life" tells the story of Shen Moxiang, the daughter of the richest man in Nanxun, an ancient town in the south of the Yangtze River, from 1936 to 1945. She grew from an innocent lady to a staunch warrior amidst the hatred of the country and her family.
Shen Moxiang, who was originally obsessed with poetry and painting and ignorant of worldly affairs, was involved in the torrent of the times because of a very important "Mole List". His father was brutally murdered, and the family collapsed overnight. For revenge and protection, she used her identity as a fallen socialite as a cover to deal with Japanese military officers, spies, and wealthy businessmen. She staged a thrilling espionage drama on the twin cities of the isolated island of Shanghai and her hometown of Nanxun.
This is not only a story about espionage and revenge, but also a heroic elegy about faith, love, sacrifice and inheritance in troubled times.
