[This book was written with guidance from the Batman Who Laughs. It’s not just made up on a whim.]
Mark got lucky when he left the house, unexpectedly reincarnating as Invincible.
But it didn’t take long for him to realize something was different about him.
His dad was Nolan Grayson, the superhero who protected Earth: Omni-Man.
His mom was Kara Zor-El, also a superhero who protected Earth: Supergirl.
Before Mark could make sense of this completely unreasonable situation, his mom, Supergirl, came to him and said:
“Son, you need to learn how to become a real superhero!”
Before Mark could figure out what she meant, his invincible mom tossed him into Gotham City in the DC Universe.
The Mentor System officially came online, tasking Mark with training a superhero recognized by Gotham.
Only by completing his mission could Mark earn rewards and his invincible Supergirl mom’s approval, and qualify to return home.
As it happened, he arrived on the very first night Barbara Gordon appeared as Batgirl…
Mark did his best to smile kindly. “Then, Miss Barbara, please work hard to become a superhero recognized by Gotham!”
Barbara had only wanted to try out the thrilling nightlife of a masked vigilante. “?”
It reminds me of another book from the next door, the American comic: Son of Superman, I can only be a native of the motherland, 🤦 🤦 🤦 🤦 🤦 except that the protagonist's parents in that book are Clark Kent and the girly version of the Almighty Man, 🤦 🤦 🤦
