Through the ups and downs and perseverance of two scholarly families in Suzhou, Qian and Yun, and their members (with Qian Qingru and Yun Mujin as the core) spanning more than half a century (from the Republic of China to the reform and opening up), it demonstrates the resilience, inheritance and innovation of Chinese traditional culture in the great changes of the times, and interprets that "book aroma" is not only the transmission of knowledge, but also a kind of family and country feelings and spiritual character that are integrated into the blood.
