Discussing the Way of Business with the Divine Lord

Su Wanqing is the icy CEO of a business empire worth tens of billions, as well as the heir to a cultivation clan on the brink of bankruptcy. With the elders’ council watching her like hawks from within and rival families closing in from without, she unexpectedly awakens the “Old Ancestor” who has slept for a thousand years in the family shrine, just as the clan teeters on the edge of collapse.

The Old Ancestor is as beautiful as a god but knows nothing about the modern world. He mistakes a phone for a magical artifact and a car for a war chariot, causing one ridiculous mishap after another.

With no other choice, Su Wanqing signs an “employment contract” with this mysterious visitor from ancient times. She explains the modern world to him, and he takes care of all her problems.

She thinks she’s simply found herself a powerful backer. Little does she know that the awakening of this ancient divine lord will stir up not only the modern city, but also a web of karma and destiny stretching across the ages. When sealed memories finally return, she discovers that their meeting, which began with a contract, is actually a long-awaited reunion after a thousand years apart.
