Chen Mo is a modern-day office worker who knows every episode of Love in the Courtyard by heart. He wakes up in a 1965 courtyard house, having become a young worker newly assigned to the steel mill's logistics department. His parents died young, and he lives alone. Calm, meticulous, and skilled at planning, he has the show's plot as his guide. His goals are to avoid the original story's pitfalls, build his wealth, steer clear of troublemakers, and enjoy a comfortable life.
