The story takes place in Yungang City, a prosperous city on the southeast coast. This city is the epitome of China's economic miracle, with tall buildings, bright neon lights, and giant ships passing through the port, handling wealth and dreams from all over the world. However, beneath the glamorous surface, the huge gap between rich and poor is like an invisible gap, dividing the city into two worlds. On one side is an international financial center like Lujiazui, where elites are strategizing in high-end office buildings; on the other side are forgotten urban villages and old industrial areas, where the air is filled with a damp musty smell and the struggle of life at the bottom.
