Set in the world of Ace of Diamond, this is the story of a “genius pitcher” who arrives out of nowhere as Miyuki’s contemporary. He gives the third-year seniors from the original story a chance to finish their summer without regrets, and gives the third-years of a “poor harvest year” a chance to fulfill their dream of making it to Koshien.
Hayami Tatsuya, a pitcher who considered himself an “ordinary guy who succeeds through hard work” back in middle school, enters Seido, a powerhouse baseball school, carrying doubts about his own abilities and complicated feelings about baseball.
There, he meets like-minded teammates and faces challenges unlike anything he has experienced before. Guided by the genius catcher Miyuki Kazuya and honed by grueling training, how will he shed the label he placed on himself and truly awaken his talent? Together with his team, can he launch their fiercest assault yet toward their shared goal: reaching Koshien and winning the national championship?
