Deyun Society: The Head Instructor's Divine Debut After Fifteen Years

Gao Jiuhun, De Yun She’s senior comedy instructor, spent fifteen years behind the scenes, his mastery of crosstalk unfathomable. When a performance at the Tianjin branch was in trouble and Wang Jiulong was late and absent, Gao stepped in at the last minute and partnered with Zhang Jiuling on The Bell Score. His live, masterclass-style straight-man routine amazed the audience. The New Year’s Eve show at the Beijing Exhibition Center sparked another frenzy. He swept the board with Learning to Rap, proving his talent and silencing those who claimed, “Teaching well is no substitute for performing well.” The moment he took the stage, he became a legend of crosstalk.
