Master, Please Sever My Ties of Love

Ling Qingxuan, the silver-haired divine lord, is the embodiment of the Heavenly Dao’s “Oblivion,” tasked with killing Yun Zhi, the reincarnation of the “Emotional Soul.” But when he sees a mortal girl willing to die to save a child, a tiny crack appears in his heart, frozen for ten thousand years. Defying fate, he takes her as his disciple and personally watches over the greatest “loophole” in the Heavenly Dao.

From then on, Snow Sword Peak becomes the stage for an unending, excruciating push and pull. He teaches her the sword, yet his sword energy instinctively protects her. She gives him wildflowers; he coldly throws them away, then secretly uses magic to preserve them forever. Reason and emotion wage war within his divine soul, until her identity is exposed. To save her life, he is forced to forge a “Life-Bound Pact,” and for the first time, her surging, untainted emotions completely overwhelm him.

To keep her safe, he personally casts her into the Abyss of Ten Thousand Demons, staging a “purge of his own sect” that convinces the whole world. A hundred years later, she returns from a sea of blood as the Demon Lord in red, meeting him on the battlefield with swords drawn. The world sees them as sworn enemies, but in the darkness they are each other’s only ally. Together, through love and conflict, they take on the Heavenly Dao that has unleashed divine retribution.

When he burns up his divine soul to save her, she learns the truth in the Hall of Reincarnation: she is “emotion,” he is “reason,” and they were once one. She sacrifices herself without hesitation, bringing about a reborn world of chaos. In the end, they remake the Heavenly Dao with themselves as its foundation, creating a new world where “emotion” is not a calamity, but the very basis of the Way.
