The Lone Loyalist of the Prince of Yong's Household

A secret erased from official history, and a name mentioned only in passing in the historical records. In the forty-seventh year of the Kangxi reign, the Crown Prince is deposed, and the struggle among nine princes for the throne begins. I, Wu Siming, become the first pawn discarded by Prince Yong, Yinzhen, with his own hands.

In the Ministry of Justice's prison, when my master's icy gaze cuts off the last thread of loyalty between us, I know the role of the faithful servant has come to an end.

Here, I finally understand. Kangxi doesn't want the truth. He wants a blade that will force all his sons to bare their fangs. They are fighting for the merit of helping the next emperor ascend the throne. All I want is a way to survive.

If you all see me as a pawn, then I'll make this realm my game board and carve out a place for myself as the one who moves the pieces!
