[Post-apocalyptic + fantasy + slow-paced + adventure + ensemble cast + machinery]
On a post-apocalyptic continent where rust, gears, and animal ears coexist, maintaining order is a technical job, especially when you’re just an enforcement officer.
Lu Xin, the Management Bureau’s youngest enforcement officer, is exceptionally capable. Her daily duties include getting cheated after chasing a thief into a demi-human neighborhood, and escorting a case of premium bubble bath liquid classified as “confidential.”
923 is her fiercely loyal robot butler. Its hobbies include sneaking sips of motor oil and stuffing any shiny scrap it can find into its belly. Lu Xin’s daily task is to haul it back from all kinds of near-fatal mishaps.
Then one day, this tin can of a robot, 923, brought home a top-secret file box glowing with an ominous purple light.
And so their peaceful routine was disturbed: a gray-clad stranger outside the clock shop, a strange recording in the warehouse district, rumors about an anomalous core on the black market… Even 923 said, unusually serious, “Xiaoye, I think we’ve stumbled into something serious.”
Lu Xin looked at the butler beside her, who was trying to stuff an old wrench into its belly, and fell into deep thought.
So, is it too late to throw that thing away?
1. An adorably mismatched duo: a cool-faced young officer with exceptional skills × a useless, cowardly, chatty scrap heap who’ll pick up anything.
2. Quirky post-apocalyptic daily life: solve down-to-earth cases in a world with a distinctive rusted aesthetic, and experience the wasteland’s unique people and humor between the different races.
3. A growing undercurrent: behind seemingly trivial assignments, a conspiracy involving multiple races, ancient technology, and present-day interests is quietly closing in.
4. All kinds of strange creatures.
