The protagonist, Ying Che, is an immortal created by the Emperor in ancient times. He once walked Terra under various identities, his most important incarnation being the chief alchemist of the Great Qin Empire. Near the end of the Great Crusade, he was caught in a Warp storm and hurled into a temporal maelstrom, awakening in the forty-first millennium. Sleeping in his mind are not only memories spanning ten thousand years, but also the “Great Qin Terracotta Warrior System” once bestowed upon him by the Emperor for a special mission in the future: his ultimate trump card, capable of summoning “Great Qin Astartes” infused with Qin technology and faith.
