Yearning: This Time, I'll Hold On Tight

Dear Gao Tu, through all the years since I lost you, I've watched our Lele grow day by day, your shadow lingering in every expression and smile. Like self-torture, I revisit our past day after day, searching through memories that have grown hazy for proof that we loved each other. Dear Gao Tu, I have tried to beg every Buddha and god in the heavens, willing to give everything I have in exchange for one chance to love you.

(I'll stick as closely as possible to the original timeline. I just want to give my favorite Lang-Tu couple a happy ending, a story of my own. There are a thousand Hamlets in a thousand people's eyes. I respect our differences. I hope writing this brings me joy, and that reading it brings you joy too. Thank you~)
