From Cultivating to Immortality as a Mortal to Transmigrating into the World of Journey to the West

[Mortal cultivation, the Myriad Worlds, slow burn, not a mindless power fantasy. If you enjoy cautious, careful protagonists, come give this a try!]

You’ve reached the Great Ascension stage! And now you want me to start cultivating all over again?

After ten thousand years of arduous cultivation, Han Yu ascended to immortality, only to suffer a shocking disaster that sent his cultivation crashing back down to the Qi Refining stage. He planned to head straight to the Black Soil Immortal Realm to seek out his ancestor, but was horrified to discover that this world was nothing like the True Immortal Realm his ancestor had described!

“Fellow Daoist, could you tell me how to get to the Black Soil Immortal Realm?”

“The Black Soil Immortal Realm? Never heard of it!” A passerby pointed ahead. “The only place you’ll find that way is Xiniu Hezhou.”

The immortal realm was nowhere to be found, while the names of mythical places kept appearing one after another. Han Yu suddenly realized: could he have ascended to a completely mismatched... mythological world?

From then on, the Journey to the West gained an immortal surnamed Han, and the calamity of the Journey to the West took an unexpected turn. The Queen of the Women's Country was dazzlingly beautiful, while the demon kings of the Lion Camel Ridge were terrifying beyond belief. Let’s see how I, Han, shake up this world.
