Zhuge Guo is not a completely fictitious character. It is based on the "Tongjian of the Immortals of the Past Dynasties". The book records that Zhuge Liang's daughter Zhuge Guo was born with auspicious signs from the sky and was surrounded by cranes. He began to practice Taoism when he was young, and eventually became an immortal.
