Han Ningxi went abroad to study and met Qin Shiyan. They secretly dated for two years. While Qin Shiyan was away on a business trip, Han Ningxi got into a car accident and lost some of her memories. After returning home, she followed her elders’ arrangements and married Shen Yannan. The couple’s marriage was full of conflict.

Qin Shiyan couldn’t find any record of her leaving the country, so he thought she was still abroad. For two years, he searched all over for her. Then his older brother was injured, and his family summoned him home. When he returned, he discovered that the girlfriend he had spent two years searching for had married someone else. He learned that she had also lost her memory, and that he was the only person she had forgotten. She was also his best friend’s younger sister.

He begins plotting to steal her back. He has to stop her from remarrying her ex-husband and keep his best friend from opposing him. He schemes at every turn, and in the end, Han Ningxi regains her memories, the misunderstanding is cleared up, and the two rekindle their love.
