He was once the brightest star at Lei Technologies, a genius whose name remains the group’s highest-level taboo. At only twenty, he single-handedly created the prototype of the “psionic neural network,” enabling technological creations, for the first time, to recognize and respond to people’s spiritual roots and divine consciousness. They believed he would bring the sacred fire to all humanity.
But on the eve of the release of his ultimate achievement, everything came to an abrupt end. A bizarre laboratory accident was followed by a joint statement from Lei Technologies and several of the continent’s great cultivation sects, erasing him completely. His name vanished from every database, and his deeds faded into vague rumors on the street. History had “silently processed” him, as if he were a speck of dust gently brushed away.
Ten years passed. Just as everyone had forgotten him, history revealed its cruel sense of irony.
The cultivation world was struggling with the ever-diminishing tides of spiritual energy, while the next generation of “psionic technology” at Lei Technologies had hit an insurmountable bottleneck. Only then did the leaders on both sides discover, to their horror, that the underlying code of the “psionic neural network” they had buried with their own hands was quietly reviving and evolving autonomously across the globe.
He was back.
Not a body, not a soul, but a consciousness dwelling deep within the root servers, a strand of living code capable of rewriting reality. He used data streams to reconstruct obliterated talismans and algorithms to derive lost cultivation techniques. In the past, they took everything from him: his honor, his ideals, his future. Now they were forced to face an enemy without a physical form, yet capable of controlling flying swords and electromagnetic cannons at the same time.
This time, he would steal the sacred fire for no one. He had returned only to reignite the flames that would consume the old world...
