Apocalypse: The Invincible Immortal Venerable Gets Bitten by a Zombie from the Start?

The nuclear bomb didn’t kill the zombies. It blasted me awake instead.

A zombie clawed at my face and broke a rotten tooth.

I, Ling Xuan, the only Immortal Venerable on Blue Star, slept right through the apocalypse.

I would have watched the world fall apart with indifference, if I hadn’t met her: the reincarnated soul I had searched countless worlds for in vain.

From then on, protecting her became the only joy in my endless life.

When powerful officials begged me to clear out the zombies, I coldly refused.

When a Kunlun Daoist knelt outside my courtyard for three days, begging for a grain of spirit rice, I relented only because she said, “Brother, he’s so pitiful.”

When the Zombie Emperor, feared across the globe, crawled at my feet and trembled as he licked the soles of her shoes,

only then did they understand: this apocalypse was nothing but a nightmare that had disturbed our reunion.
