As a Beast of Light, I Want a Peaceful Everyday Life

(A Digimon fan novel)

(Keywords: Digimon, Digital Monsters, Lucemon)

(Probably an ensemble cast) (Compared to the ensemble, the protagonist gets far too much screen time)

(Actually, the other characters get plenty of attention too)

Huh, I actually transmigrated, and I even became Lucemon from Digimon.

Lucemon, who already had immense power, chose to lie flat!

Lucemon felt that an ordinary life was much better.

I’m old now. I don’t have any ambitions or anything like that anymore.

My top priority now is to eat when it’s time to eat and drink when it’s time to drink. Ruling the world? Nothing to do with me.

Until one day.

“You’re saying I’ll become the Demon Lord in the future? The Demon Lord who destroys the world!”

No way. How could someone like me ever choose to rule the world?

Is that really what my future will be like?

Forget it. No point thinking about it.

Even if I can’t change the future, at least I can change tomorrow.

I’ll keep living the way I want, looking forward to the tomorrow I choose.

And if the future really can’t be changed, then I’ll face that unknown future

With the tomorrow I’ve been hoping for.
