Blind for Nineteen Years, I Opened My Eyes and Slew a God

“Doctor, I’m not crazy. The moon really is covered in tentacles, and that angel is eating people.”

Lu Ye had severe schizophrenia and was blind. He had been locked away in the deepest part of a psychiatric hospital for nineteen years.

No matter what he said, everyone dismissed it as the ramblings of a madman.

Until one day, the fog descended, the gods awoke, and indescribable monsters stormed into the hospital, slaughtering everyone in sight.

Amid the entire hospital’s desperate screams, the blind boy excitedly undid his restraints. His lips split into a savage grin, and drool ran down his chin.

“Nineteen years… It’s finally time to eat!”

…

After joining Bureau 749.

The examiner broke down. “Who let him pass? He ate the S-rank demon beast we were using for the test, raw! This isn’t a rookie. He’s more of a monster than the monsters!”

His teammates trembled. “Captain, Lu Ye took off his blindfold again. Run!!”

Facing the gods and demons of the myriad heavens, Lu Ye calmly wiped the blood from his blade.

“Don’t get me wrong. I’m a reasonable madman. As long as you don’t resist, I’m usually quite rational.”

That night, he opened his eyes. The gods fell, and the Great Xia lands were placed under a no-travel order!
