Synopsis

September 15, 2030, at midnight. An ominous, glaring red light tore across the sky of Blue Star, as if the heavens were bleeding. Then an eerie black downpour began. The rain was thick as ink, carrying a stench of rust mixed with decay. It lasted the entire night, washing over the whole civilized world.

Three hours after the rain began, the red light in the sky receded like a tide. But despair did not end. Instead, the Big Dipper shone with abnormal brilliance in the night sky. Its seven stars competed in an unprecedented blaze of white light, as if ignited in an instant by some unknown force. Then, before billions of horrified eyes, the star Tianshu, the first of the Big Dipper, suddenly broke from its orbit and became a meteor faster than sound, trailing a dazzling, deadly tail of flame as it crashed toward Blue Star. The end of humanity had arrived.
