Qiu Qingye had been in love with Shen Boxi for years, never imagining she could be with him.

It wasn’t until she went to college that she learned she wasn’t the only one with a secret crush.

Shen Boxi was born to shine, refined and elegant… Yet he gave all his love to her, spoiling her until she could do whatever she pleased.

So when they broke up, it felt like half her life was gone.

Years after their breakup, they meet again. Qiu Qingye is an entertainment reporter, while Shen Boxi is still the same young master.

They’re worlds apart now. Too insecure to want anything to do with him, she tries to keep her distance, but he insists on sticking close.

He keeps asking her to pursue him, on top of telling her to change jobs.

On the day she decides to confess, before she can say a word, Shen Boxi pins her in a corner and kisses her until she can’t breathe.

He says, almost pleadingly, “Qiu Xiaoye, I don’t want to wait anymore. Come back to me, okay?”
