"Blade Opera" focuses on the civil resistance against Japan after the fall of Northeast China in the 1930s. It tells the story of Peking Opera troupe Zhang Mingchun, his apprentice Ling Feng, and his daughter Su Wan, from fleeing to resisting the invasion with opera skills. The three of them each showed their strengths: Zhang Ming planned the Spring Festival and integrated his Peking Opera skills into actual combat; Ling Feng used martial arts to sneak into assassinations; Su Wan disguised herself as a Huadan to collect intelligence and set up agencies. They transformed costumes, flower guns, etc. Into weapons, and used "tricks" to carry out operations. From the initial test of their edge to running in with other forces, they finally planned a "stage kill" to compete with the Japanese army. Although he paid a heavy price, he interpreted the national responsibility of the bottom artists with his flesh and blood, and wrote an anti-Japanese legend with art as the blade and immortal spirit.
