Reborn in the 1980s, the Fierce Old Lady Wields a Knife to Protect Her Family

[1980s] [A touch of ensemble cast] [Reborn] [Feel-good revenge] [Family and neighborhood life]

On the first day of her reborn life in the 1980s, Granny Lin decided to stop pretending and do whatever she pleased.

“An eldest daughter-in-law should be dutiful”? To hell with that.

“If you can't bear a son, they'll take everything from you”? I'll cut you down with one slash.

Wicked father-in-law: I'm your father!

Granny Lin: (kicks him flying) “My father was a bandit chief. Who the hell are you?”

(Narration: “The old man ran faster than a mouse. At seventy, he could still spring up like a carp.”)

Her daughter's in-laws show up to make trouble. What a perfect chance to deal with the scoundrels!

Granny Lin: Just in time. I've been looking for somewhere to practice with my knife!

One slash cripples her brother-in-law, and two kicks break her nephew's legs.

Her sister-in-law, Wang Cuihong: Murder! Filial impiety!

Granny Lin: An elder sister-in-law disciplining her younger brother and his wife is a lesson in love. We're family, so there's no need to stand on ceremony. If you don't like it, keep it to yourself. After all, an elder sister-in-law is like a mother!

With a fortune and a treasure map in hand, this unhinged granny's comeback in the 1980s is pure satisfaction!
