"Earth Online North" plays a game with life. This game has no established meaning. The protagonists just want to find some meaning for themselves in their ordinary and boring days.
The plots in the book are all fictitious, and if there are any similarities, it is a blessing - this is just the life trajectory of an ordinary person among all living beings: there are the stumbles and pursuits on the way to starting a business, the responsibilities and concerns on the shoulders of a son, husband, and father, and the friendship and responsibility with a close friend, brother, or elder brother.
Most people in this world are either trapped in the pursuit of material things in the world, with cars, houses, and wealth as their goals; or they are willing to be rivets on the collective gear, seeking that heavy sense of accomplishment in the field of power.
There is no superiority among these choices, and each has its own interests. In the final analysis, everyone is just striving for the freedom and freedom that their heart desires.
The name of this book is "Pointing to the North", not "Guidebook" - I dare not claim that the book's absolutely correct life mottos are absolutely correct. The characters and stories in the book are absurd on paper, just like most people in this world are groping forward through trial and error.
Life is like a play, there is no preset smooth road, only the sincerity of constant testing, the pits you have fallen into, and the mistakes you have made will eventually turn into glimmers of light on the way forward, illuminating your own journey of exploration.
But there are no standard answers here, only real experiences, sincere thinking, and a game of life that explores meaning in the urban world.
