A proud, beautiful Western saint vs. a deranged Eastern villainous demon monk
Two male leads + transmigrate into a book + both are each other's first and only + bottom's perspective
“You can't kill me. My magic can heal your spiritual bones.”
That was Xia Si's excuse to stay alive.
“Heal me, and I'll let you go.”
That was Jing Chen's promise.
But in truth, Xia Si had never intended to heal him. All he could think about was going home to bring back reinforcements, then returning to take revenge on Jing Chen.
As for Jing Chen, he had never planned to let Xia Si go, either. Anyone who couldn't be of use to him would be sent to meet the Buddha.
And so the two of them, each harboring their own schemes, were forced together.
Xia Si thought that one day he'd have enough magic, return to the temple with his knights, and finally hold his head high.
Jing Chen thought that one day his spiritual bones would be restored, his past-life peak strength would return, and he would go back to take his revenge in triumph.
But those were only their expectations. Reality soon hit them both hard.
These two couldn't even manage to keep themselves fed.
After escaping their pursuers, they ran into a cash problem at their very first stop.
With no other choice, one of them had to draw censored porn comics while the other worked as an itinerant medicine peddler.
They ended up sharing a shabby little hut and a shabby little blanket, two miserable wage slaves who could afford only one steamed bun a day.
As for those grand plans?
Forget it. They could wait. They were practically starving to death.
It smells so good and looks so good. This is my first time reading this genre. In the first few dozen chapters, I would be angry because of Jing Chen's attitude and Xia Si's innocence, but I won't be angry after that, because I prefer love that is long-lasting and develops naturally to love that has no emotional line. Xia Si is the embodiment of light and was raised under protection. I think his simplicity is normal. People need to go through some things before they become more stable. Jingchen is also a little bitter gourd. He only has Xia Si, so he wants to stay away from Xia Si for fear of hurting Xia Si, but he also wants to get closer without knowing it. A little bit of lightning protection: Xia Si has a filter on some of the original male protagonists because of the script, but the original male protagonist is not a very good person, and it cannot be said to be bad, because the weak eats the strong. The details will depend on how the author describes it in the later period.
It's okay, it's good-looking, and the subject matter is different from what I've seen before. It's just a bit too short and not enough to read. Please give the author a big boost.
I'll change places when you come back
Beautiful, novel subject matter
